Carroll County goes live!! We welcome Carroll County to GAJE! GAJE will be conducting a scheduled maintenance deployment on Tuesday, August 18th, 2015. This will be conducted after hours. The deployment will include an increased character text box for rejection reasons. The limit has been increased to the industry standard of 240 characters. This deployment will also include more court specific improvements, such as removing forward stamping date stamps from all courts currently experiencing this. We will also be migrating 4 courts (Baldwin, Candler, Emmanuel, and Macon) to a new clerk import from XML legal to a direct import through our Java Database Connection JDBC framework. This will not affect how Child Support files to those counties though we will be taking them down earlier (Noon, August 18th) than the planned maintenance window to avoid any possible filing issues. I will follow up with the county clerks of those courts to discuss any specifics.

Just an update that the scheduled GAJE deployment has been delayed until Wednesday evening, August 19th, 2015. All courts with the exception of Baldwin, Candler, Emanuel and Macon will be able to continue filing without issue. If your office files to any of the aforementioned counties, please refrain from sending cases until further notice. Once they have been fully migrated, I will send out an announcement to resume.

The new GAJE site will be rolling out on September 1st! When you try to access https://www.gaje.us you will be redirected togaje.georgiacourts.gov . Please inform all of your staff/e-filers! There’s still time to beta test with us! Just follow the link to the site and let us know what you think. You can respond directly to this email or to your BA.
We were unfortunately unable to hit the deadline for the migration of Baldwin, Candler, Emanuel and Macon on August 18th but are still working diligently to get the migration completed and hopefully we’ll deliver it early into next week, the first week of September.

We are happy to announce that Jackson County, Murray County and Haralson County have now began E-filing case into the Superior Courts in Gerogia. This brings the total number of courts E-filing in the state of Georgia to 123.
Thursday October 1st, 2015
Maintenance has been completed on the GAJE system, you may now resume with E-filing. There were issues in the system that resulted in the lost of any action that was performed today October 1st before 1pm.
Cases that was imported today before 1pm will not have stamped documents attached to them. Each office will need to retrieve the stamped copies from their clerk's.
If you filed a new case before 1pm today you will need to refile that case.
If you filed any subsequent documents on any case before 1pm today you will need to file those documents again.
If you have any concerns please contact Tajsha Dekine at Tajsha.Dekine@georgiacourts.gov

We are aware that some of you are experiencing some issues with the system. We will be rebooting the server to correct the issue. This should only take a few minutes.
Tuesday November 10, 2015
Today November 10, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. we will take the system down to implement a few changes that have been made to the system. After today the system will no longer allow multiple data files to be uploaded on a single case with the same DCSS case # in GAJE. The correct process for filing subsequent documents is as follows:
Search the Case# in GAJE
Click File New Documents or Modify
Select Document Type or Document Package and upload
Click Review of Filing Button
Remove the current civil action # in the Civil Action box and click Set Civil Action #, this will allow for your clerk to assign a new Civil Action # to those documents or case
Click Send to Attorney or Submit to Clerk
If you have any question please contact Tajsha.Dekine@georgiacourts.gov
NOTE: This only applies to offices that are uploading a new data file on the same case for a different case action in GAJE
