JC/AOC Information Technology Notice

Attention:  JC/AOC Staff, Supported Groups and external users

Upgrade of Web Site Server Environment scheduled for Tuesday May 2nd

Please advise your external customers

We will be installing a critical security update on the web site hosting server next Tuesday starting at 9:00 AM. We expect to be finished by 1:00 PM.

This upgrade will impact ALL web sites hosted in the georgiacourts.gov domain.

Maintenance Window

Tuesday, May 2nd 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Service Outage

This maintenance window and upgrade will impact all web sites hosted in our environment.

Scope of Change / Issue

We will be upgrading the software that supports our web site hosting environment to remediate significant security risks that have recently been identified.


This process will require us to take ALL the websites we host offline during the process. This includes the Judicial Council site, as well as all hosted sites including the Courts Information Directory (CID) and the Caseload Reporting site.

Reason(s) for change

A critical security issue has been identified in the software used to host our web sites. A security patch and software updates have been obtained to repair the vulnerabilities that have been identified.

Additional Information

Email and other internal systems will continue to operate during this upgrade. If you experience any issues following the upgrade, please submit a help desk ticket (http://helpdesk.georgiacourts.gov ). External customers may email helpdesk@georgiacourts.gov to report issues following the upgrade.

Some users have reported outages and/or difficulties logging into GaJE. We are currently working to determine the extent of the issue and will have it resolved as soon as possible. We apologize for the down time and we will inform you; if affected, once this issue has been resolved.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We are currently having issues with our georgiacourts.gov websites. I was unable to receive any emails as of Monday, August 21, 2017 at 8:00 am until now. The GAJE website is currently down, we are working to restore the system as soon as possible.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact me.
